Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention
Welcome to Your Tai Chi Journey
Whether you’re brand new to tai chi or looking to refresh your skills, this course will gently guide you through the fundamental principles and flowing movements that make tai chi such a powerful practice for health and wellness.
By the end of this course, you can expect to:
Learn and feel confident performing a short, Sun-style tai chi sequence designed for arthritis and fall prevention.
Improve your balance, coordination, and body awareness through slow, controlled movement.
Build strength and flexibility without strain, using low-impact exercises that are joint-friendly.
Reduce stress and feel more grounded through mindful breathing and movement meditation.
Move with greater ease and confidence in your daily life.
Each session builds on the last, allowing you to gradually develop your skills and deepen your understanding of both the form and the philosophy behind the practice. You’ll be supported every step of the way with clear instruction, gentle encouragement, and practical tips to help you feel successful—no matter your starting point.
Please take your time going through the lessons. There’s no need to rush. Get comfortable with each form before moving on to the next. I often recommend practicing individual forms on their own and then combining them with others you’ve already learned—this helps build both confidence and flow.
To support your learning, be sure to download the Cheat Sheet PDF, which lists the forms in the correct order. Feel free to print it out and keep it nearby while you practice—many people find it helpful as a visual guide.
Let’s begin this journey together—slow, steady, and with intention.
