  • Join this popular fitness program that’s designed to help people with limited mobility stay healthy, active, and engaged. Work on strength, flexibility, and balance while having fun and making new friends. Activities will be performed in sitting, standing, and on the floor, with modifications always available.

    Classes are free to Silver Sneakers members, $25 for non-members.

  • Enhance your Tai Chi journey with this practice-focused class centered on the Tai Chi for Arthritis sequence. Designed for those already familiar with most or all of the forms in this sequence, this session offers an opportunity to refine your movements, deepen your understanding of Tai Chi principles, and improve overall flow. Rather than focusing on instruction, we’ll explore the quality of movement, balance, and mindfulness to fully experience the meditative benefits of Tai Chi.

    Fridays at 2:00 pm, beginning in March

  • This class utilizes elements of various Parkinson’s-specific programs, including LSVT Big, PWR!Moves, and Rock Steady Boxing, to focus on improving motor control and mobility for people with Parkinson’s Disease or other similar neurological disorders.

    Wednesdays at 4:00 pm

  • Therapeutic Yoga for Healthy Joints

    Working in small groups, this course focuses on improving flexibility and strength to improve every day movements while utilizing strategies and modifications to prevent injury to people with arthritis, osteoporosis, or other musculoskeletal issues. This 4 week course focuses on function versus poses … perfect for those who are looking for an alternative to the standard yoga class.

    This course includes 8 sessions designed to introduce you to the gentle, flowing movements of Sun-style tai chi. Known for its smooth, upright postures and ease on the joints, Sun style is especially beneficial for those with arthritis or anyone seeking a mindful, low-impact approach to movement.

Strategies for fall recovery: This class will cover tips and strategies to make it easier to get on and off the floor. If you can do it intentionally, then you have less chance of ending up there accidentally. Multiple skilled clinicians will be available to provide physical assistance and instruction to help you succeed!
