If you’re looking for something completely integrated and tailored to your specific needs, 1:1 private sessions might be the right step for you. My focus in on function, improving your movement to make everyday activities easier and less painful.

Some of the programs that I use:

  • LSVT BIG® Program: Incorporate this high-intensity therapy that uses large, forceful movements to improve mobility and reduce symptoms of Parkinson’s disease.

  • PWR!Moves®: Improve strength, flexibility, and balance with PWR!Moves, a low-impact exercise program that improves strength, flexibility, and balance.

  • Tai Chi: Reduce stress and improve balance and flexibility with Tai Chi — gentle exercises that combine slow, flowing movements with breathing and meditation.

  • Yoga: Focusing on improving flexibility and strength to improve every day movements while utilizing strategies and modifications to prevent injury to seniors with osteoporosis or other skeletal issues.

Our initial sessions will be dedicated to assessing your current level of mobility, including your flexibility, strength, and balance, and determining what your specific goals are in regards to movement and self care. From there we’ll begin to create a personalized plan to fit your needs.

Subsequent sessions will include elements of those issues that we identified as problem areas, focusing on how those relate to your function. With every exercise or activity that we do, you’ll know exactly why it was chosen and how it will help.

integrative

Since all movement requires more than just one element of fitness, we’ll be incorporating a variety of strategies to meet your end goals, with anything from meditation to boxing, depending on your needs, abilities, and interest.
